I’m Jacqui Hurst, an award winning photographer specialising in gardens, applied arts, crafts and regional food producers. A native of Suffolk, I have been working as a professional photographer for a couple of decades throughout the UK.
Now living and working in London I also teach courses on photographic techniques, including garden photography, photographing your own work for artists and visual composition. I run regular courses at West Dean College, West Sussex and FSC Flatford Mill, Suffolk.
I am an active member of the Professional Garden Photographers’ Association and of the Garden Writers’ Guild; in 2003 I won the Guild’s Photographers’ Choice Award for my photograph of ‘Cedars at West Dean‘.
My work can be viewed and purchased online at Alamy, GAP Photos and Getty. My pictures have appeared in numerous books, magazines, national newspapers and exhibitions.
